TYPES OF PAINT DEFECTS

This requires a multi-stage spot correction to get rid of the factory or repaint sanding marks left behind.

Light Swirls

May only require a one stage polish and in some types of harder clear coat paints a multi-stage will have the best outcome.

Heavy Swirls and Scratches

Will require multi-stage paint correction and possibly even going further into more heavier compounds and possible wet sanding.

Buffer Trails and Holograms

Best to be taken care of with a multi-stage correction but a single stage will greatly change the look of these but not completely fix all defects related to this improper style of buffing.

Bird Dropping Etching

This can be a permanent thing that if sat too long on the paint it can damage the clear coat and eat into it leaving these marks. In most instances this can be fixed and is very important to be taken care of before it is too late.
